This program was developed to offer a full-body workout in an hour or less, that combines elements of cardio, power & olympic lifting, gymnastics, core training and more. Accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone - people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years. Our instructors will be there to teach, ensure safety, motivate, and encourage as you gain strength, burn calories, increase self-esteem, and form new friendships.

This program is specifically designed for individuals who want the constantly varied, high-intensity aspects of MVMNT without the heavy lifting. This program focuses on all ten components of optimal physical fitness: endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. M-45 is a great way to get into shape in 45 minutes or less using basic bodyweight movements, plyometrics, running, rowing, jump ropes, kettlebells, dumbbells, and medicine balls.

The mission of The Movement Lab is to forge a broad, general, and inclusive fitness. We sought to build a program that would best prepare individuals for any physical contingency - not only for the unknown but for the unknowable.
The Movement Lab formula is “constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement.” Functional movements are multi-joint, natural, effective, and efficient. Intensity is defined exactly as power, and intensity is the independent variable most commonly associated with maximizing favorable adaptation to exercise. Our method of functionality and intensity is constantly varied. We believe that preparation for random physical challenges - the unknown and unknowable - is at odds with fixed, predictable, and routine regimens.
The method that drives The Movement Lab is entirely empirical. We believe that meaningful statements about efficacy, and efficiency can be supported only by measurable, observable, repeatable facts...or simply put, data. We call this approach “evidence-based fitness”.
In application, MVMNT is a sport - the “sport of fitness.” We’ve learned that harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition, and fun of sport yields an intensity that cannot be duplicated by other means. Using scoreboards, keeping accurate scores and records, running a clock, and precisely defining the rules and standards for performance, we not only motivate unprecedented output but derive both relative and absolute metrics at every workout; this data has important value well beyond motivation!
